Course information : The 1920s saw great social change throughout the Western world that gave rise to new movements in technology, music, art and literature. Over two terms we shall look at the diversity of ideas through the work of exciting and challenging writers from Britain and other European countries. These include James Joyce, Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Virginai Woolf, Evelyn Wuagh, Franz Kafka and Aldous Huxley.
